In 2023, The Kids Are Running Wild had the opportunity to partner with Inumin Productions and the creative vision and storytelling of Edmonton-based videographer Gerald Pagdato. At the time, Gerry was, for the most part, an unknown acquaintance to the band. Under the course of his leadership and visual storytelling, the group found room to publicly tell the story of journeying together towards their first album release.
With creative partnership from STORYHIVE, the year of recording saw a flurry of pitches, storyboards, interviews, and audio-visual recording sessions during their time together with Gerry. The six episode docu-series aired in 2024 on Telus Optik, chronicling the process of writing, performing, refining, producing, and releasing the very first batch of original songs together as a band.

In a unique twist ending, after spending countless numbers of hours together with filmmaker Gerald Pagdato, the band realized that jam sessions would begin to feel empty moving forward without him. After a year of intense community building through making the videos, The Kids Are Running Wild officially invited Gerry to become the seventh member of the band in late 2024. In 2025, his debut rap song collaboration, "Tomorrow", was released.
